As the autumn air filled with the excited giggles of children getting ready for Trick or Treat, our volunteers were hard at work transforming Stamshaw Junior. Families flocked to the Haunted School for an evening of spooktacular fun. Crafted around safety and enjoyment, this occasion gave families a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Halloween, filled with tasty treats and joyful laughter.
The Haunted School transformed the junior school grounds into a whimsical wonderland, inviting families from all over town to come and join in the fun . From ghosts to superheroes to witches, the creative costumes added spooky excitement to the atmosphere, creating an enchanting environment that felt festive and secure.

Familes came from all around to trick or treat at our haunted school, which was made possible thats to some generous donations from our local Morrisons, Adsa and Tesco stores. A huge thank you goes out to their community champions for supporting the event again this year. Their support meant that we could keep the event free for all.
A huge thank you goes out to everyone who popped some change into our donation buckets or donated using the QR codes. Thanks to your generostiy, this event raised a wonderful £257.07 to cover some of the cost of putting on the event.
It wouldn't be possible without volunteers!
Of course, none of this would have been possible without our dedicated team of volunteers who worked tirelessly from 8am to transform the school grounds. We want to say a huge thank you to every one of the PATCH team who gave their time to make the event possible. From putting up decorations, getting dressed up and coming along to add to the atmosphere, handing out sweet treats and clearing up the next day, they really did go the extra mile to create such a wonderful event for our community. Volunteers really are the beating heart of our little charity and we couldn't be prouder of them for everything they do.
And a special THANKS! has to go out to our V.I.Ps (Very Important PatchKids) who get roped into helping at every event. They spent around 12 hours at the school with their parents to help set up and run the event. Our V.I.Ps are true heroes in ours eyes!

We had great fun and we hope you did too. We are already planning for this year and can't wait to welcome you all back. If you would like any information about getting involved, we would love to hear from you, just pop us an email on stamshawschoolspatch@outlook.com
